Project Overview: The InterContinental Indianapolis, a luxury hotel within the historic Illinois Building, underwent a $120 million restoration to transform it into a 170-room hotel. The renovation preserved the building’s original architecture while adding modern amenities like a rooftop bar, new dining concepts, and enhanced event spaces.
Design Highlights: Glass railing with a side mounted bonze 2” dia buttons (4) at the bottom of each glass panel. The assist railing was a decorative bronze fluted rail that hangs off the glass. This railing is an architectural focal point of this new hotel thats has been completely redone in this historic 100 year old existing building.
